Arielle M. Borsos joined Caplin & Drysdale in 2013 as an Associate in the firm's Washington, D.C., office.


Ms. Borsos counsels individuals and corporations on matters involving inbound U.S. and outbound international tax and tax controversies.  Illustrations of her legal services, include:

  • represent individuals and companies at the examination and appeals stage with respect to both domestic and international tax issues;
  • advise U.S. citizens with offshore accounts concerning their U.S. tax obligations and various matters in the international enforcement arena, including offshore voluntary disclosure;
  • assist clients in sensitive civil tax examinations by the IRS where fraud or substantial penalty issues may arise; and
  • counsel clients on planning for pre-immigration and expatriation, with particular emphasis on efficiently structuring cross-border investments.
