Caplin & Drysdale's Matthew Sanderson testified at a Senate Intellectual Property Subcommittee hearing, "How Does the DMCA Contemplate Limitations and Exceptions Like Fair Use?" on July 28, 2020. The hearing covered fair use limitations and exceptions for the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and was chaired by Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC).
