Caplin & Drysdale Attorneys Mentor ABA Rule of Law Initiative Fellows from Croatia

Caplin & Drysdale is pleased to be supporting two officials from the Croatian Ministry of Finance selected as Fellows in the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative’s (ABA ROLI) International Justice-Sector Education and Training (IJET) Program.  Caplin attorneys and the Croatian officials are developing policies and procedures concerning that country’s criminal tax enforcement system.  Cono Namorato, Mark Matthews and Scott Michel are working with the Fellows, who are spending a month in the United States as part of the Program.  Caplin attorneys have assisted similar countries in the development of their tax enforcement systems for the past thirty years and are delighted to be volunteering their time to work with the Croatian officials.
