This panel will provide an overview of e-discovery and the use of technology in trial practice, with a specific focus on tax controversy and litigation. Panelists from government and private practice will share practical information, insights, and strategies using case studies, hypotheticals, and other resources from district courts and private industry.
Learning Objectives: After attending the session, the participant will be able to:
- Understand the basics of e-discovery and the significance of metadata;
- Identify the key practical differences between e-discovery and traditional discovery, as well as similarities and differences in the rules pertaining to each;
