H. David Rosenbloom to Speak at Vienna University of Economics and Business Tax Governance Conference

The Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law and the Austrian Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Vienna, will host a cross-disciplinary conference Tax Governance: The Future Role of Tax Administrations in a Networking Society. The event will feature researchers, government representatives and practitioners from all over the world discussing hot topic issues in the field of Tax Crime and Sanctions, Tax Evasion and Aggressive Tax Planning, and Enhanced Relationship and Voluntary Compliance.
Caplin & Drysdale's H. David Rosenbloom will be a commentator for the "Tax Evasion and Aggressive Tax Planning" session. He will be joined by session chair Pascal Saint-Amans from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and fellow commentators Christian Kaeser (Siemens AG), Josephine Feehily (Revenue Commissioners, Ireland) and Wolfgang Nolz (Federal Ministry of Finance, Austria).
The session will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20.
