Peter Barnes to Speak on Tax Treaty Disputes in China

Speakers will discuss the Tax Treaty Disputes in China, which will  be published in the Cambridge University Press two-volume treatise entitled A Global Analysis of Tax Treaty Disputes by Peter Ni. The treatise aims to be the first to offer a global analysis of the leading tax treaty disputes emerging in the G20 and beyond during the almost century-long pre-BEPS era (1923-2015). The treatise is based on two building blocks: i) country-by-country and topic-by-topic analyses, and ii) a dataset that grounds a global quantitative analysis. This treatise has been the product of collaborative work across all continents in thirty countries over the last five years.
