Caplin & Drysdale Welcomes Allegra Kauffman
Caplin & Drysdale welcomes Allegra Kauffman as an Associate in the firm's Complex Litigation and Bankruptcy practice groups.
Ms. Kauffman’s practice centers around representing individuals, corporations, and nonprofits in all aspects of litigation at both the state and federal level. In addition, she works to protect the rights and interests of creditors, tort claimants, and official creditors’ committees in mass tort bankruptcies. While at Georgetown University Law Center, she served as an Editor for the American Criminal Law Review, as a student attorney for the Communications and Technology Law Clinic, and as a mentor for the Women’s Legal Alliance. Ms. Kauffman also co-chaired the annual Home Court game put on by the Georgetown Law community to benefit the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. During Ms. Kauffman's time as a legal intern at Coco-Cola she worked on projects which empowered suppliers to avoid human rights violations.
