Armitage praised Caplin & Drysdale for its inverted-pyramid structure, with members outnumbering associates in order to have counsel serve more as advisers than managers for large litigation or deal projects, adding that members “strive to preserve that difference.”
As Armitage takes the helm, transfer pricing for cross-border deals is expected to continue to be an area of interest for clients as a result of recent guidance released by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act , he said.
