Matthew Sanderson Receives ABA Outstanding Project Award for FARA Task Force

On September 13, 2021, at the ABA International Law Section's Virtual Leadership Retreat the Task Force on the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) won the 2021 Outstanding Project Award for their report: FARA: Issues and Recommendations for Reform. Matthew Sanderson, co-leader of the Political Law Group, co-chairs the ABA International Law Section's Task Force on the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The report, which was released just as the the Justice Department is ramping up their enforcement of FARA, outlines the reforms the task force says are needed to fix the law
