HALLIE JACKSON: The publisher of the National Enquirer making headlines of his own. David Pecker granted immunity by federal prosecutors investigating Michael Cohen, the President`s former fixer, according to a source familiar with the matter. Pecker is a longtime friend of the President who helped catch and kill negative stories about him including, according to Cohen, having his company pay a woman for exclusive rights to her account of an alleged affair with Donald Trump, one he denies, then never publishing it. Now, Pecker shared what he knows about the payments and who may have been involved in making them, according to sources.

HALLIE JACKSON: So did he just implicate himself in a crime? Trevor Potter chaired the FEC under President George W. Bush.
TREVOR POTTER: He ended up based on what we know on the record with illegal corporate and excessive individual contributions that were not reported to the FEC as they should have been.
