With more than 30 years in law firm finance and management, John Riggleman currently serves as Firm Administrator for Caplin & Drysdale. In his role as head of administration, Mr. Riggleman maintains close working relationships with the firm’s President and Board of Directors, Administrative Member, as well as Caplin & Drysdale’s General Counsel. He is an active participant at all Board and Shareholder meetings, offering analysis of and solutions to varying issues, and developing short- and long-term strategic plans to help guide the future growth and development of the organization.
Mr. Riggleman plays an integral role in all aspects of the firm’s goals in collaboration with the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Business Intake Committee, where he oversees new client and matter intake.
Additionally, Mr. Riggleman leads a management team of professionals from Accounting, Human Resources, Information Systems, Library, Facilities, Records, Recruiting, Litigation Support, and Marketing. He ensures these departments execute the firm’s short- and long-term objectives.

Mr. Riggleman earned his undergraduate degree from Radford University, where his studies focused on financial management and accounting, financial markets and institutions, and international business. Before attending Radford, he was awarded the “Veteran of Foreign Wars Leadership Scholarship Award” for displaying exemplary leadership skills. Mr. Riggleman is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators, the Mount Vernon Country Club, and Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity.
