Scott D. Michel will speak at a panel meeting in Zurich hosted by the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will discuss the joint statement issued by the U.S. Department of Justice's and the Swiss Federal Tax Department on which the DOJ attached its "Program for Non-Prosecution Agreements and for Non-Target Letters for Swiss Banks." The Program is aimed at numerous Swiss banks that "have reasons to believe that they may have committed tax-related offenses according to US law" or that have not committed any tax-related offences.
