Caplin & Drysdale Welcomes New Associate Irene Kwon 

Caplin & Drysdale is excited to announce that Irene Kwon has joined the firm as an Associate in the Business, Investment & Transactional Tax, International Tax, and Private Client practice groups. Irene participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program in 2022.

Irene’s practice focuses on advising individuals, partnerships, and corporations on the U.S. federal income tax consequences of proposed and completed transactions and assisting them with matters relating to compliance with their U.S. tax obligations, in both wholly domestic and cross-border contexts. While at the Yale Law School, they served as the Articles Editor of the Yale Journal of Law and Feminism and Academics & Inclusion Chair of OutLaws. Irene was also a law student intern for the National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls through the Yale Law School Movement Lawyering Practicum.
